If you have had to use your Medicare benefits, you learned Medicare does not cover some costs and requires participants to pay expenses out-of-pocket. Sometimes, a Medicare recipient may have to pay $1000 out-of-pocket and perhaps some other co-pays depending on the care received.

The ISTA Financial Services Program Medicare Supplement, offered in partnership with the NEA Members Insurance Trust, assists in the payment of deductibles and co-pays. The plan, available only to ISTA FSP members*, allows members to select the plan they need and offers affordable rates and unique benefits not found in other supplemental plans. Among those is the Best Benefits card entitling the holder to discounts on benefits such as dental, vision, hearing and chiropractic care as well as prescription drugs, at no extra cost.

This Medicare Supplement Program allows you the freedom to choose your own doctor and hospital. In addition, the ISTA Financial Services Program plan also automatically increases participant's benefits to match when Medicare deductibles and coinsurance are raised. Rates are reviewed annually and you will be notified of any increase before it is implemented.
