The Indiana State Teachers Association ("ISTA"), through its Financial Services Program, makes available to school corporations and their employees certain employee benefit programs. The current offerings are described on this website. This website also lists the contact information for vendors of financial products and services that are no longer offered directly as part of the Financial Services Program.
ISTA Welfare Benefits Plan and Trust (a/k/a, "The VEBA")

The ISTA Welfare Benefits Plan and Trust (a/k/a, "The VEBA") is a tax-qualified voluntary employees’ beneficiary association trust that accumulates assets on a tax-free basis for the purpose of reimbursing medical claims, paying medical insurance premiums, and such other permissible VEBA benefits, as are more fully described in the VEBA materials.

ISTA Insurance Trust
The ISTA Insurance Trust is a tax-qualified voluntary employees’ beneficiary association trust that provided the funding for medical, long-term disability, dental, vision, and life benefits for employees of school corporations that participated in the Trust. For the most part, Trust operations have been suspended. Following is a status report on each of the benefit programs that were funded through the Trust.
